I do not have one either. I see it at movies, and it looks cool.
But they should be really expensive, I am not sure if it's worth spending that amount of money to have one.

We've started off with a Google Home Mini smart speaker and we love it so far. It's really useful to just check things by speaking and using it as a speaker for music as well. Next step is to get some lights that we can control through it.

I have Alexa (useless), Google Home, an iRobot floor vacuum, and Nest Thermostats. Definitely nothing to the extent like those smart homes you see on HGTV with the vacuum in the walls, the glass tv wall like Iron Man, or anything like that, but the additions we have do help a bit to tech-ify our dumb house and make our lives a bit easier.

I've thought about buying something like Alexa as a 'smart home' device, although I've never actually caved on the purchase yet. I'm not sure it's something I would use consistently if I'm being honest, and there's always something at least a little eerie about having a device always listening to you. :P
